2025 UTME Mock Result Released: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted countrywide on Thursday, April 10.
According to the Board, candidates who participated in the optional mock exam can now retrieve their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” by SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number used at registration.

The mock UTME, which serves as a rehearsal for the main exam, is aimed at familiarising candidates with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format and assessing the efficacy of new elements introduced by JAMB for the 2025 exam cycle.
Out of the 200,113 registered candidates, 126,181 eventually sat for the exam. A total of 73,844 candidates were missing, while 88 others were unable to participate owing to failed biometric verification.
JAMB announced that results for 115,735 candidates are now available, while 10,446 results are still being processed and would be given in due course.
“We regret any inconvenience caused and appreciate the understanding and support of both candidates and parents,” the Board added.
JAMB maintained that the mock UTME continues to be an important instrument for strengthening the test process, enabling the Board enhance its operations while affording applicants crucial hands-on experience.
“Over the years, this initiative has successfully achieved its objectives, addressing noted lapses and equipping candidates with valuable experience for the main examination,” the Board added.
JAMB asked candidates to remain focused and motivated, encouraging them to make the essential preparations for a smooth and successful UTME experience.
