WAEC Adds Resit Examinations for Candidates
WAEC Adds Resit Examinations for Candidates: The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has implemented a novel initiative that enables students to retake their West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) examinations as early as January and February 2025.
“Though the cost of registration for the re-sit papers may be small and cannot be compared with the amount to be paid for the next examination, that doesn’t mean the students must see this window as a good opening to be lazy nor to be serious with their academics. The registration cards can be bought from resultcards.com.ng.

This modification represents a departure from the previous system, which necessitated candidates to await the subsequent private exam session. He urged potential candidates to capitalize on the registration period.
“Students who have recently accessed their WAEC results and have realized that they need to retake one or two papers have until January 8th to register online through our website or at WAEC-accredited internet cafés.”
“The exams will take place from 24th January to 15th February 2025,” Kapi stated.
