Nigerian Govt proposes 12-year educational Model. The Nigerian government is thinking of establishing a 12-year continuous learning paradigm by incorporating secondary school into basic education.

The Current Educational model
The current educational system is the 9-3-4 division. Before they continue at a postsecondary institution, they must complete nine years of basic education, which includes six years of primary school and the first three years of junior secondary, and an additional three years of senior secondary.
In order to move from 9-3-4 to 12-4, Mr. Alausa is suggesting a system that combines three years of secondary school with nine years of basic education.
